I am a cool rabbit that makes a living by smashing computers
with a hammer. I also love to reset passwords and soothe
the ancients demons that reside within enterprise printers.
In my spare time I dismantle electronics and decide to either lovingly
clean them and give them new life or torture them with soldering irons
and horrible software. It really depends on my particular contempt for
the product in question. If it's an old and obsolete piece of garbage I'll probably
fall in love with it, if it's a smart home device or something I am going
to beat it with a rock. Where do I get all this garbage? My other favorite
activities, stealing shit and browsing my local thrift store.
I can't actually play bass. Does that make this more or less in character?
I have many other hobbies that take up a lot of time and entirely too much
of my money like Gunpla, tabletop and board games, and video games. Especially
video games, I love all sorts of indies and JRPGs especially.
Check out my topsters list of my top 50 games.
No I couldn't pick only 25 games like you are supposed to in topsters because I am a freak.
It's not quite in order except for the top 10, which are all games that are
essential to me as a person. If you couldn't tell I like Night in the Woods a lot.
I also love commissioning art! I'm no artist myself but honestly it is more fun to
see my ideas in other people's styles and interpretation. There's a few
pieces from awesome artists around this very website. Check out the credits page for real.
Do I have any hobbies that don't involve sitting on my ass? I love hiking when time allows.
It usually does not, but I had a small unemployed stint of scavenging Google Maps for fun places
to take a walk. It's nice to just go outside and explore! I hate doing it on weekends when trails are
busy, but I can still take a day off every now and again to go enjoy
nature. I've also been doing a lot more cooking recently!
It's fun, satisfying, and very difficult for someone who grew up eating nothing but
frozen foods. But if you learn a few fundamentals, it quickly becomes much less daunting. Don't be afraid
to look up dumb shit like "how to dice an onion", because I sure had to, and with
Gordon Ramsey's stalwart guidance I can now
dice a damn good onion. Life is truly all about making
non-instant mashed potatoes for the first time while in your 20s.
Honestly if you have the time it's probably one of the better life skills
to learn just in general. And who doesnt love being rewarded with a delicious meal!
Budget bytes is a great resource for recipes
and price breakdowns, if you are as clueless as I am you could start in worse places.
Speaking of clueless, I am also attempting to draw better! No you can't see them yet.
They are bad. But hopefully I will stick with it long enough to be less horribly
embarassed about it.
That's all I have for now! I'll update this page when inspiration strikes
or if I have a new project to yell into the void about.
